HPRMS

The Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of Greater New York (HPRMS) is a vibrant organization whose members work in New York City and the surrounding region. Our members work in university-affiliated medical centers, community hospitals, public hospitals, nursing homes and home care agencies. We also have members who serve as communications consultants and those who work in the pharmaceutical and advertising industries.

The Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of Greater New York (HPRMS) was founded in 1969 by a group of healthcare public relations and marketing executives. Their goal was to create a forum to foster professional growth and regular interaction among colleagues within the field. Since then, membership has grown to some 300 members who serve in public relations and marketing positions in hospitals, home care agencies, nursing homes and public relations and advertising agencies.

Each year, HPRMS offers a variety of events, designed to offer members opportunities to network with their colleagues, meet members of the print and broadcast media, and stay current with the ever-changing legislative issues that affect healthcare.
